Dreamin' Workshop
Saturday, November 5, from 7-10 pm
Come make either 25 cards OR 3 two-page layouts using these beautiful papers! They're perfect for your autumn photos or to use as greeting cards during the fall/Thanksgiving season.
Typeset Workshop
Thursday, November 17, from 7-9 pm
Come make 3 two-page layouts to showcase all those cute back-to-school photos that you've taken! These layouts are great for students or to celebrate a special accomplishment.
Elemental Workshop
Thursday, December 1, from 7-9 pm
Come make some cards and layouts for a variety of occasions using this very versatile paper pack. We'll make 2 beautifully-embellished two-page layouts (one for Christmas photos and one for everyday) as well as 6 pretty Christmas cards.

Dreamin' Workshop
Saturday, November 5
7 - 10 pm
At my home in Bowie (near the Town Center)
Come create cards or layouts using the beautiful new "Dreamin'" papers... gorgeous shades of blue, brown and gold perfect for your fall photos or greetings. For this workshop, you can choose to complete either 25 cards (5 each of 5 designs) or 3 two-page layouts.
The Dreamin' 3 two-page layout option includes...
- Dreamin' Level 2 paper pack ($9.95)
- Dreamin' My Stickease ($4.95)
- 3 additional sheets colonial white cardstock ($0.75)
- 1 additional sheet bamboo cardstock ($0.60)
- Shimmer brads* ($4.95)
- Harvest charms* ($4.95)
Total: $26.15 plus tax & shipping
(You will need to supply your own adhesive.)
* If you'd like to lower the cost, you can eliminate either the shimmer brads and/or the harvest charms.

Can't make it to a workshop...
... but still want to make some of the projects you've seen on the blog? Here are two options for you:
Option 1 -- Take-home kits
If you'd like to make any of these projects but can't make it to the actual workshop, I am always happy to assemble a kit for you to pick up and put together at home. For $3 extra, I'll pre-stamp all images for you and get your kit ready to go!
Option 2 -- Host a workshop at home
If you're able to gather at least 3 friends to join you, I'd be happy to come and lead a workshop in the comfort of your own home on a date that's convenient for both of us. As an added bonus, if you and/or your friends place Close To My Heart orders totaling $150 or more, you can receive the hostess rewards described on page 2 of the idea book! You get $25 in free product for the first $150 spent, and the rewards increase as the sales total goes up. Just let me know what workshop you'd like to host and some dates that work for you. Thanks! :)

Christmas Card Kit
If you're interested in making some simple, pretty Christmas cards, I'll be selling Christmas card kits for $25. The kits will include pre-cut cardstock pieces, die-cut & pre-stamped images, ribbons, and sparkles - enough to make 20 elegant cards (with envelopes). Please allow two weeks from the time that you order the kit to receive it, so that I have time to order the components, have them delivered to my home and then pre-cut and stamp everything for you. Merry Christmas!

FREE Crop on Saturday, October 15
My friend Brooke & I are teaming up to offer a FREE crop at my house on Saturday, October 15, from 6-11 pm. Feel free to invite a friend and come for a few hours, or for the whole night!

Well, I'm going to give this whole craft blogging thing a whirl! For ages, I've been meaning to get my Close to my Heart business up and running, mostly for the fun of creating and crafting with friends... and maybe to make a little extra $ to help support my own habit too! ;) This blog is a first step in that direction.
